beforethejob.app uses AI systems to help summarize information and assist with offer evaluation and negotiation preparation. This page explains where AI is used and its limitations.

Manager and company profiles may include an AI generated summary based on available structured ratings and (where permitted) written feedback. These summaries are intended to highlight general patterns, not to capture every detail.

When you submit a job offer, the Service may generate an AI offer brief that scores and analyzes the offer using the data you provided along with available market and manager data. The brief is generated automatically and reflects the limitations of the underlying data.

Suggested counter-offer ranges and negotiation talking points are generated based on patterns in available data. They are starting points for your own judgment, not a recommendation guaranteed to produce a particular outcome.

Draft negotiation messages generated by the Service are templates intended to be reviewed and edited by you before use. We are not responsible for the content or consequences of any AI generated message you choose to send.

AI generated output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. It may misinterpret submitted data, rely on a limited sample size, or fail to account for context that a human reader would catch.

AI summaries are generated from the underlying manager reviews, ratings, and compensation submissions described in our Terms of Service. The AI does not independently fact-check those submissions, so any inaccuracy in the underlying data may carry through to the summary it produces.
